Immediately after university, I launched my own startup, which was sold rather quickly. Startup number two came very soon after, put due to policies the invention was rendered unusable at the time, and thus we closed the company. I was then approached as an entrepreneur to help with policy making for the government. There I was for 10 years, and was part of the reason that Vkstfonden was created. I looked a bit elsewhere and became CEO of Symbion (which is an office community for startups), and then began developing programmes to develop startups and not just housing them. That was then developed into Accelerace where we now focus on startups at a very early stage (what we call pre-traction).
I am on a mission to help international employees belong anywhere. We do it by helping internationals break down the language and cultural barriers, and by sharing some of the daily challenges that they go through. I founded the company and had the idea from the start that we should try to reach as many children as possible with psychological knowledge to prevent diagnoses and problem behavior. I have many years of expertise and up-to-date knowledge within, among other things, help and advice for parents and relatives – therapy courses for children, young people and adults – neuropsychological examinations – I hold courses and workshops – interdisciplinary and monodisciplinary supervision, etc. authorization and specialist training in psychotherapy.
I am definitely a generalist, also in my role as a founder. Previously, I have worked as a data analyst for the United Nations for 2.5 years, studied cannabis supply chains in Nepal, and worked closely with owners of small companies – assisting mostly with marketing. In Blue Lobster, or any new project, my strength is to get things started and to build processes and systems. As a generalist founder, I consider my biggest goal to be to create structure in the organisation and specific roles, which I can then hand over to people with more experience or a more specific skillset than myself – in other words, I am consistently aiming to replace myself.
