Marketing & Growth Hack Intern

Nordic Startup Awards is looking for a new intern who can be part of our marketing team!

As an intern part of the NSAwards team, you will be working closely to the management team to increase the general growth of the brand through our social media channels. We are looking for a person who leans towards the creative but have an eye for analytics, who can think out of the box and enjoy working on finding new growth hacks. You will also be in charge creating content for our social media channels and other activities (mentioned below) in the active season of the award show.
The period of the internship is for our season 2017 from March until October, but it can also be adapted depending on the intern needs.

This is an unpaid internship position relevant for a person that will like to learn and be part of the entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Create original content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn
• Organising Campaigns
• Help to build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Respond to customers questions and comments through social media
• Reach out to and build relationships with key influencers
• Manage and grow engagement with customers
• Email Marketing
• Assist with increasing engagement through email campaigns
• Community Engagement
• Reporting and analysis
• Capture and analyse social data/metrics and revise tactics based on key results.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop

Brand & Communication Graphic Designer

NSAwards is looking for its next Graphic designer intern!

As an NSAwards intern, you will be working closely with the management team on a wide range of projects, helping us to get our message across visually on our website, social media platforms, and materials for our national and regional competitions, as well as other Nordic and international events. This position gives the opportunity for you to expand our brand through many different platforms.
This internship is ideal for skilled graphic design students or recent graduates who are looking to learn and be challenged by a highly creative work environment, while building a killer portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Work with brand marketing on Facebook posts, Tweets, Instagram images, content & more.
• Work in the execution of internal and external communications, such as client newsletters, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, web design, event branding, etc.
• Creation of brand templates for social media platforms.
• Serve as a “brand champion" to ensure proper use of brand guidelines and templates.
• Assist in the development of internal and external marketing collateral.
• Work independently/collaboratively with management on creative operations, brand development and continuity.
• Understand and incorporate brand standards in creative elements to ensure uniformity and consistency of the brand in communications in all of our channels.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
• Use computer software to generate new images.
• Research and evaluate new technology and digital strategies.
• Work on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Love to create, modify and implement new design ideas.
• Familiar with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat; video experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Ability to translate brand mission and values into dynamic and captivating visuals.
• Bringing projects to a working state.
• Rigorous eye for details and well organised.
• Ability to multitask and to adapt easily to changes.
• Ability to follow style guides, instructions, and critique feedback.
• Able to work independently when necessary.
• Proper grammar usage, spelling, and quality of writing is highly critical to this role.

The period of the internship starts as soon as possible, and it can be adapted to the intern needs. The internship is unpaid.

Operations Intern

Nordic Startup Awards is looking for a new intern who can be part of our operations team!

As an intern part of the operations team, you will be working closely with our COO to improve our processes, to ensure the highest quality at all levels of the competition and showcase the top of the Nordic innovation. This is an unpaid internship position relevant for a person who is under education, that will like to learn and be part of the entrepreneurial environment.

The Nordic Startup Awards is a unique series of events in the Nordic countries.
